There are opportunities to enter into a Full-time or Job Share employment contract with My Midwife & Me partner organisation One to One Midwives.

One to One Midwives are commissioned by the NHS in various locations and has the ability to support midwives who may be seeking to build their own private business by offering the option to work within a caseloading, continuity model of care.

This opportunity would provide job security with a guaranteed salary, including access to pension and holiday pay as well as support and training in managing a dedicated caseload. This would build a knowledge base and skill set in how to work in a caseloading model, at the same time as providing a guaranteed income whilst building your own private practice.

A community caseloading midwife within One to One provides care for a defined caseload of women, whether this is a part-time caseload or a full caseload of 32 women. Our unique caseloading model of care enables you to work flexibly and autonomously by putting you in complete control of your own diary management. This means that you can provide a flexible service that meets the needs of women but also enables you to design a work/life balance that best suits your individual lifestyle. The caseloading model is based on a nurturing and supportive culture, underpinned by strong principles and values to enable you to be a skilled, autonomous and confident midwife within a positive, supportive environment.

One to One Midwives achieve excellent clinical outcomes and are constantly seeking to improve on these with an innovative approach to service delivery. Therefore, as a One to One caseloading midwife you will be constantly seeking to improve the care of women and their families and will be an empowered and passionate advocate for all women but specifically for women who require shared care across multiple disciplines. You will be joining a service with the highest homebirth rate in the country and who is already at the forefront of delivering on the vision and recommendations of the Better Births Report 2016.
